Not The Entertainer or John Doe.............this was a lesser-known horse.
Hint: Think ARKANSAS !

All my criticizing & punning aside, Sargent did so much touchup on the Horse, it looks like a carricature cartoon, to me!

Jimmy Gray is correct ! He almost looks "mystical" in that photo to me. Don't know if that's smoke in the background or not ??? He was one of the early greats and I hear he was good with a horse.

I think he was regarded as one of the top trainers during the 40s and early 50s. The story I heard was that he quit training and showing when it got to the point where horses had to be sore to be competitive.

Would that have been after my time? I don't think I know Mike??? I thought it resembled Ken...although a little heavier in the face than I remember Ken. I can't remember what Mr Magic looked like exactly either but knew he won the Celebration on him during the time I was still showing.

Ebony's Executive & Mike Crawford is correct. thumbs up I believe this team won championships in both the juvenile and amateur divisions. Hill, I do believe this may have been after your time in the biz.

Moonman is CORRECT! cheers
I remember when I first started showing in plantation pleasure classes, I trained all my mounts to park out.
Seems a lot more horses parked out in those days. I still kind of like the idea.

Moonman was a fine hoss, seems like he got hurt or died or something happened to end his career early. I only remember seeing him once when he was 3 or 4, but he was a goodun Cool
