Midnight Queen Bee & The Impala are CORRECT! cheers
Kay McFarland won the Owner-Amateur Stallion class on The Impala in '63 and she also won the Ladies Mare/Gelding class on Queen Bee that same year. Both trained by the Leechs of Belvidere, Tennessee.

He's from either Lexington or Frankfort because when he was a kid he would come to the shows he would hang out with David Brown and/or Sammy Sorrell. Give us a little more info. Richmond, Morehead and Paint Lick are near Lexington. Is the trainer from Fayette Co. or around it?

Nope.......Joe Cotten is from Louisville. This trainer was not a Ky trainer, as far as I know.
He was born in Fayette County, right outside Lexington.
