| Nope Razor - but I agree about the hairdo - remember when they were the THING? I always kind of worried about bees actually nesting in them - I'll give ya'll another hint if you want it.

| Anne Daugette on Go Boy's Joy is correct Bubbadog! How did you know? I don't even remember seeing her, although I must have when she came in 3rd in the Ladies Mare class at the '66 Celebration. | |

| I'm not sure if that is Moneytree's Shadow - I know that you are right about Laura. And as for Anne - sometimes you just forget how smart I am! | |

Anne and I were married in July of 1971. She won the Ladies Stake at the Celebration that year for the 4th time as Anne Daugette Renfrow. In 1972 it was decided to let her brother Clarence show her as he had never had a horse as good as Rock-A-Bye or Moonglow Jr. He won at The Columbia Spring Jubilee and not long after that Rock-A-Bye died in her stall at Vic Thompson's barn. They said it was a twisted intestine. Too Bad. she probably would have foaled some great horses1 | |

| Thanks Razor. I was at the 1970 Celebration for the last Friday and Saturday night. I think I remember seeing Moonglow, Jr. That would have been a dream come true for me back then to have been able to just show in that big ring. Really loved horses back then. Thanks again for some good memories. | |

| Burt Daugette and Moonglow Jr. won the Amateur Stake at the Celebration in '66. '68 & '69. In 67 she showed in the Amateur stud class but Moonglow Jr. was obviiously off that night and placed 3rd to Go Boy's Royal Heir. It was determined the next day that he had a quarter crack and was not shown back in the Amateur Stake In '70 Moonglow Jr. was officially retired in a retirement ceremony at the Celebration. You probably saw him then.
