These pictures are from the "Tennessee Walking Horse Calendar" produced by White Horse Farm of Illinois from 1985-2008. They are indeed treasures.

History Buffs,
The most upper rh picture is B Roanallen Jr, not F38. This is a 1st time for Me to see the MN Sun photo. Bro NB Hardeman owned Nellie Grey, that Floyd Carothers was on. Floyd died at 42, so says his marker.

We were out riding around today and went down through Beech Grove. I thought these markers from
the new Beech Grove Cemetary might be of interest.

1 Trained Soc Man @ S Hills
2
3 Hoss owner @ S Hills
4 Family owned Allen F1
5 Groom @ Steve Hills

I was borned in that LITTLE house thats run down in picture no. 7 and i have a picture of me setting on Brantleys Roan Allen Jr. in front of the Barn the taller one in picture 9, I was 4 yrs. old at the time, I know where most of these places are ,just drawing a blank, I know Bill Sledge's barn is--11,looks like --9-- is HWY 41 at the stop sign that place is called NOAH or the old folks use to call it NEED MORE, THAT IS JUST PASS MY BIRTHPLACE, or is that Dudley Parkers place in BeechGrove ,We was PO, BUT we had lots of LOVE

12-- Is the Barn that Dick Myers use to own in Manchester,Howard Roberts just rented stalls from Dick when he had Black Charger

Nice job SB and thankyou! Weren't you worried today, with the tornado warnings?

11. Bill Sledge
12. Jack Thomas's former place. Who owns it now SB?

MIB...Royal Heir is buried about 150 yds from where I am sitting. I have been mowing his grave since I've been with Ramsey, although they never purchased him a marker.

E...MIB is right. The house you were hatched in should be on the historical list. I will contact State of TN about having one erected.

OHM,
We were at Wendys on 231 in Murf. when the rain hit at noon. Bill Sledge was at Volunteer, owned by Jack Thomas' sister (Bob Gilley).
Dick Myers & Howard Roberts were at Different times at the twin barns (NorthFork).
They were owned by Jack Thomas, but now owned by Eddie Howland (Elwoods nephew), Eddie also owns the Steve Hill place.
