I won The Aged Stud Class in 1987 at The International with Prides Rare Delight , The horse in the above picture with Flip Cook, He could kick some BUTT TODAY , He was clean footed and could go Clean . He busted a Quater crack on his right back foot on Friday morning before the Stake on Sat. and was OFF Behind on Stake night, He was a GOODEN, I still have his Tail Set with his Name on it some where in my Garage

Marianne Leech with unknown horse (?) I think this is one of the best photos ever posted on WHT.

Carbon Copy & Joe Webb. Another good color shot from long ago.

Old newspaper clipping of Go Boy's Shadow & Mrs. Adamson and Mrs. Boyd of Shelbyville

For the life of me, I still can't see how a horse built like that, could walk his way to 2 WGC's.

If anybody else had him but Winston he might not have been so Good, but thinking back i remember a lot of top horses back then was Higher in the Hips than they were in the Withers, You should have seen Ebony's Threat with his Front shoes off, SMALL and High in the Hips

Those are all fine looking studs, but I believe P O P would get my vote in a model class.

Royal Heir was pretty as a picture, but I doubt he would measure much over a pony. We kept horses at Donald's barn on a trip to Tn. once and he had Royal Heir in the cross tie one day and it was hard to believe how beautiful and how tiny a horse he was.

Royal Heir was purty as a picture. Pride of Panola would have been good at halter. Valton Rummages Marks Tradition on the front cover of a Voice was the purtiest stud pose that I ever seed. I think Eldorado looked like a gildin in his picture.

Another fine line up of studs that would make any judge earn his fee. M G B would get my vote, with D O P being a close reserve.
