| That Mighty White Man horse was owned by a family from down here in S.C. He was before my time but I know he had a pretty impressive show record and got some good ribbons at The Celebration back in the late 40s and early 50s. His name also crops up now and again when I'm researching pedigrees. (researching pedigrees has gotten a whole lot harder for me since they changed IPEDS, I knew the old way backwards and forwards, can't figure this out very well.) | |

| Smitty...I would have liked to had those too. Good thing I weaned myself from ebay. MIB...Don't tell me the TWHBEA website is no longer user friendly. I haven't been on it in awhile, but got to get busy and register these valuable foals. S61...Got four real purty spots, that need to be double registered. I'll be visiting you soon, with my horrible photography. | |

| MIB, Did Clarence Blanks from McMinnville Tn. start Mighty White Man? I know where there is a complete set of stud books, if you need them. They have everything from start to around 1948, vols I thru IX. Bruce Spencer (Voice) printed one that he called vol X (10) but it was for 69 only. It is not included in this set, but I have one in my collection. I have some software that has all peds from 36 thru 93, its on an old harddrive that we don't use anymore. | |

| S B, Clarence Blanks used to show MWM. I'll keep those stud books in mind, thanks.
OHM, Some folks say they like the new IPEDS but I can't do much with it. I could use the old one backwards and forwards and I sure would love to have it back.

| Even though MIB is a GENIUS he is sot in his ways - I keep on telling him that he will get used to the new IPEDS but he's still complaining. | |

| The Blue Ribbon collage picture was taken from up on top of our house, after we had bought them at the Kennie Nelson estate auction in 88. The mid bottom Voice is Everetts buddy Paul Smith on Ridglea's Delight, who reminds me of Setting Suns Apollo. | |

| In the picture of Doug and Handshaker, why are the ribbons and mane on the on(near) side of the horse? | |

I don't know, but that's not Doug or Handshaker. I think it's Jimmy Waddell & Handshaker's daddy.

| Sorry. I must have mislabeled that one. I corrected it. It is possible the photo could have been "flopped". That would explain the mane on the wrong side. | |

| SB,
Pride's Clutch was by Double Clutch & out of a Pride mare that was also the dam of Dawn's Walking Blue. This was also the same female family that produced Coin's Hard Cash.
