| I just got back from Dr. Bob's visitation. There was an tremendous crowd there. It took 1 1/2 hours to go through the receiving line. He was an incredible man who touched a lot of lives. Tonight's crowd certainly verified that.

| I heard that Dr. Womack was buried at Flat Creek in Bedford Co. where He grew up & went by Bobby Joe. In one of the 40's BlueRibbons theres a picture of their new concrete block barn. It can still be seen on the right, on the way to New Herman, where Haynes Peacock once lived & maybe His sire Wilson Allen. | |

| Tip Thompson was always the neatest dresser. I guess that came from owning a men's clothing store. I saw him quite often when I was visiting my step-mother. He seemed like a very nice man. | |

| Good to know, DB's home is safe. We are lucky aswell. Three fences washed away, going to be a job for Ramsey...could have been much worse. Unbelieveable! My thoughts and prayers are with those who weren't as fortunate...very sad. | |

| I saw on WHC today that there is 6 feet of water in the lobby of the Opryland Hotel and it looks like more on the way. | |

| I hope all of our Tennessee members are safe and sound. I have been hearing about the devestation in Nashville...has always been one of my favorite cities. So sad that many of the historic buildings have been affected. I hope relief is soon on the way.
I had not heard about Dr Bob either. His passing happened when I was not feeling well and I missed hearing it. He was a wonderful man and his contributions to TWH world were many. My condolences to Ricky; Lynn; and family. | |

| We are fine. There is a little ditch beside our house that looked more like a raging river than an empty ditch for much of the day Sunday, but it would go down as fast as it came up. We rode out to Walter Hill, for those of you who know about the dam there, and the water was within about 3 feet of the top of the dam. That was mid-morning Sunday. The Stones' River near our house had gone down considerably from the time I left this morning to babysit Hanna until the time I got home tonight. Thoughts and prayers for those who are caught up in this terrible mess. | |

| Marilyn and Kathy Thompson's condo (River Plantation phase 1)...was heavily damaged and both vehicles are totaled. They and a guest, were rescued by boat late Sunday afternoon. Water started entering the condo, approx 10:00 am Sun morning and everyone went to the attic. Water was already 5 ft in the house, when police and rescue finally got to them at 4:30. For right now, Marilyn and Kathy are with a friend. They were able to save some of Vic's wall pictures. Very sad, not to mention Marilyn's health and age. I'm sure they would appreciate your prayers. | |

| OHM, I'm so sorry to hear about Marilyn and Kathy...Please give them my best when you talk to them...what a shame. Do keep us informed about them. Many, Many Memories lost in their condo I'm sure. Weren't they in a high rise when they all first moved to Nashville? I'll be sending prayers their way. | |

| I trail rode alot with his former father inlaw, the late Johny Leyhew of Milton. His last horse was by Flashy Pride & out of a spotted mare. Bud was training Flashy at the time of the breeding. Eddie was assisting Bud At Sallyhill in Woodbury when Marvin Otten owned it many moons ago. In 01, I went to Toronto for 2 weeks of CAD (catia v) training. One Sunday, A young French Canadian from Quebec, who was just learning English, took Me down to Niagra Falls. While walking down the sidewalk, I noticed a Guy with a Lascassas Girls softball team, Tshirt on. I asked him if He was from Rutherford co. Tn & said He lived at Milton! | |

| Yesterday, While at Midway Diner in Deason to eat lunch, Billy Gray told me about Eddie Ward. I had been telling Him about, just coming from Hoyte Tenpennys to check on Him. He is Mac Tenpennys only child. Has cancer in a bad way. After lunch, I went to see another cancer patient at Midland. I learned to ride on their horses, when they lived here. I stopped at Charles Brantleys, on the way back home & picked His 86 year old brain. He's a walking text book.
