Last night show was one of the best i had been to in a long long time. packed classes with good horses in all the classes and you found yourself lookin forward to the next class to see who was gonna be in it. it lasted to 12:30 bu tit was worth the wait for a horse show like that.

I think that I really like that King of the Jungle horse. It's hard to tell on a computer.
The stands were sad and empty - I remember when it was stake time at Columbia and you had t o SQUEEZE to get a spot.

I have only looked at a couple because it takes so long for my computer to download, but the P Diddy horse looks like the real deal to me.

P Diddy is a really good horse and King of the Jungle has always been one of my favs.A lot of the times I think KOTJ gets the shaft in Stake classes. He's a busy walkin fool.

BD...The empty stands were sad and we didn't go either. Ramseys still busy in the hay, and if not for WHC covering it...I would have gone. I missed alot of both nights, but the best show we've had all year. No telling what will happen this week. affraid The trainers show in June just don't seem right, but maybe they'll have a good 'un.

It is mighty hard to wrap the old brain around the trainers show being held in warm weather - ain't it?

Whoever was operating the camera, did a good job. I liked the Outa Line grey 4 yr old amateur better than the Coach. I also thought Winkies 2 yr old was the most sound horse in these videos.

I would like for yall to rewatch the am 3 yr old stallion class. For the life of me, I can't see how they tied Compton first. He was no better than 3rd. No's 4 & 5 should have also been reversed. Compton had a big front end & absolutely, no backend at all. I was at the show & didn't think he should have tied then. There were 3 or 4 gooduns in there, but it wasn't Comptons night at all. The camerman & the crowd weren't fooled.

Back in the day, far back into the previous century actually - When Buddy Kirby had my Design horse, Wallace used to call him my "old jug headed horse". And I KNOW that he was a good one - besides, he had great ears that kind of softened the jug head. As long as they shake them heads, a jug head isn't a big deal to me.
