The filly above was a full sister to Copy's Valentine. Their dam was a full sister to Mack K's Rebel.

E, If she's still alive, she's 43 years old! Shocking isn't it?

MIB, Yes she did. Red Gochneur bought her & showed her as Judges' Choice to promote his new feed supplement. She was later sold & shown again as Wa-Moo-Lang. E, I'm not sure how old she was when she died. She was indeed a "good 'un", but she couldn't compare to her sister.

MIB, Yes, she won the 3 Yr. Old Mare World Championship, then she got swamp fever from an overused needle, as I recall. E, I agree. Valentine was the best 2 yr old that ever "looked through a bridle"!

Smitty...who's the artist that did the picture right before Knox and Mas. It's of the bay horse head & gray action horse. What horses are they and who's riding the gray? Can't tell if it's pencil, oil or pastel....but it's Awesome work !!!!!

S61, I can't recall exactly where I got that one, but I think the artist's last name was Keith. I'll see if I can backtrack and find out for sure. Looks kind of liike pastel & pencil to me (???)

Those last two are nice Smitty. I miss all the art that was posted. S61, the painting you were asking about , was it pastel's? The detail is awesome!!!

CB, it's pencil and water color. Your right about the detail, simply awesome. For someone who's subject of choice was dogs, she does horses and the detail as good as I've ever seen. I should be so talented, don't I wish. May have to try it, course that means another bunch of art supplies and I'm art supply poor as it is.

I know what you mean about the art supplies. I wish I could have afforded art supply shopping this week end because of the no tax. You know, I have always wanted to try water color. I love the cool muted colors that I think only water colors can give.
