Everett, I doubt him tying 4th had anything to do with his lick. Probably was a canter issue. Hope the video comes available so we can see what happened. Eddie

Big Ed,your right,I think it was a cantering issue. He broke in the turn with the judge looking square at him.I also thought he looked a little flat on the reverse.

"Lots of Luck"...is one of Sherri Dietz's Ward's amt horses. All of her horses are now with Chad. Speaking of Chad...he relocated this week and is now at Sheryl & Doug Crawfords (Saddlecrest). Jack Way is moving or has moved into the old BlackHawk on 231.

Today, I heard Jerry Summers judged Gallatin. I had a great breakfast at the Midway Diner. 2 pieces pork tenderloin, 1 egg cooked to order, 2 biscuits, gravy & jelly for the unheard of price $3.50 plus tax, plus $1.29 for coffee. Talked to Sonny Scribner about Mo. Billy Gray was there at the table but didn't look too down in the dumps. Said hi to Sonny Holt & Tommy Howell. Had lunch with my Ca. friends at Rafaels Italian food Restaurant (owned & operated by Mexicans) great food & prices, across from Vics first barn location.

The Golden Sovereign. He is by the same stud as my broodmare and her first baby looked exactly like him! Unfortunately, the kids were sneaking in and playing with the baby, and she ended up so spoiled, you couldn't do a thing with her. We moved the mare and haven't had that problem again. But all the babies have been black, and not nearly as pretty as the first one. Different stallions were involved.
