Senator's Showoff & Cantrell is correct. One of the best mares of the 80s. Tied reserve behind Pride's Secret Threat in the Three-Year-Old Championship one year. I think that photo was taken when she was a two year old.

Senator's Showoff was indeed one of the great mares of the 80's or any other decade. She was the first Walking Horse foal ever raised by Don & Donald Bulloch at their farm directly across the road from our farm in Dermott, Ark. They also raised Pride's Miss Shirley & Jazz Man. Not bad for a 4-6 mare operation.

Is the the same ? Miss Shirley mare that was owned by Jack Mitchell, Albertville, AL and trained by the Bobo's? I cannot remember if she was Pride or not. Big black mare? I can remember the Miss Shirley as that was Jack's wife's name....she was a talented mare if that's the same Miss Shirley.

MM, That's her! She was by Pride. The "bookends" in the above picture are the managers of the Pulaski horse show. The three in the middle are probably being honored for being the only World Grand Champion riders from Giles County.

The older Gentleman at the left end, beside Doug Wolaver is Jack Cashion, a friend of mine. I last talked to Him at the Shaw funeral. Doug & Steve Aymett (center) were there also. The younger rider is Knox Blackburn of Masquerading Fame. Doug won WGC's with Mack K's HandShaker, Triple Threat & Go Boys SunDust while Steve won with Doc's High Tribute. I don't know the big Guy at the right end.

The man on the far right is Robert Brindley (sp) (Brindley Construction) who is chairman of the Pulaski, TN horse show. His daughter, Beth, is a former TWH exhibitor.
