| I remember Bryant Fly working The Pushover on the Celebration grounds when he was two or three. I thought he was the most talented young hoss I'd ever seen at the time. Not surprised he went on to become a WGC. Steve Aymett also worked him at one time, I do believe. | |

| Pushover had a little mean streak in him. I saw him at the International one night and when came out the gait he walked on the hind legs down to the Inspection area. Don't know if they ever got him checked. I thought he should have been WGC when Gower had him, no, let me restate that. He should have been WGC when Gower had him!!!!!!!!!! | |

| I have often thought that the "Big Stake" should be tied by the Crowd. At least the first 3 places. Of course that would never fly, but I think 30 plus thousand folks would get it right. I'll stop there. | |

| I wish there was a "like" button. Kevin Gower sure had Pushover's number. He was a flatwalking bridle wearing fool. LOVED him! | |

| I agree with you HC; Pushover should have been WGC with Gower. Also, you're right about him being a little mean. I have a good friend who groomed him when Kevin was at Looking Glass. He told me that the Varner's built a little turn out pen for Pushover so he could get a little outside time. When they first put him out there he liked it so much that he refused to be caught and brought back inside. Evidently he stayed out there several days until he decided he wanted to come back in. Don Milligan was around him a lot as a young horse at Bryant Fly's and he said that a lot of his meanness was man made. | |

| I went down to Kevin's barn at the Celebration after the class and congratulated him on the fine job he had done. He had no negative comments and was putting the wraps on Pushover. I got that "sick feeling and reality check" about how things are done!! | |

| I raised one Pushover filly, she was gorgeous, but "spirited". She kicked a groom at her first show, fracturing his leg. Bred her once and she broke out of stocks (broken boards and over the top) at the vet/squalling loud enough to bring out all the help from the other barns at Ed Murray's clinic/hospital, she did stop immediately after breaking out though....One of the few I've ever sold, decided I could not handle her easily nor was I anxious to have that trait passed on. | |
