I always thought that Mr.Magic would win the big stake. He came close but did make it. I saw him put on numerous great shows with Albert Lee and Gray.

It does appear to be Donalds "older" barn, on the old Hwy 70. Barn is still there and now painted white, except for the tin roof.

Don't want to confuse you, but if you didn't know...Donald and Mildred sold this barn and the house, then built a "newer" barn down the road. After Donald's death...Mildred had this barn torn down..and she built a smaller one across the road.

Carlton Pitts did train there. That was known as the Braxton Farm according to my info.
Paschal may have trained there as well.

I always like to see Carlton show. Remember the last Stake horse he used to showed and how long and pretty the horses tail was? Carlton was a good feller!!!!!!!!
