| Always loved that photo, Never seen a horse with a back end like that. Wonder what happened to him? Didn't Neil Robinson have him for a while. | |

| Neil was his last trainer I think, and Mack Crowe from Ark. his last owner. Albert Lee Rowland had him for a brief spell and he sold to some folks here in S C and Bill Moore got him and showed him around here a few times and then he was sent back to Bob Cherry. He came real close to winning the aged stud class one year. He could walk about as deep any any hoss ever. | |

| I've only got a minute, but I'm gonna take a S.W.A.G. at this one. I'll go with a young Winky Groover. Both hoss and rider have got a great set of listeners! | |

| I think that this was taken at the very first trainer's show, but I could be wrong - maybe Kim will remember the year. The trainers held a clinic and the 3 of us were picked to demonstrate the gaits. Kim, flat walk, Burt running walk and you might know - I had the canter. It was held at the Ellington Agricultural Center in Nashville and the are that we rode in was actually SQUARE. That instantly gave me "canter block". I practiced in that little enclosure and Huck yelled till his tonsils blew up and finally he just told me "NEVERMIND" - that I was hopeless. But true to form when it was time for the demonstration that little old silver horse knew that he was ON and went in that little square enclosure and cantered like he was used to cantering in a square everyday. | |
