Ronnie Spears on Flying Cloud?

Great photo of Go Boy's Flying Cloud & Ronnie Spears. Never saw this horse, but I have a feeling I would have liked him.
Why is Ronnie wearing ear muffs???

Flying Cloud was one bad little horse. I used to hear "Cloud" tales all of the time from Spoon. He could do that floppy timed up walk -
Maybe Ronnie's ears were cold Smitty. Or maybe he was trying to make a fashion statement that didn't catch on. Don't know.

Hint: this was a pretty well-known hoss I do believe............might have even been a stake hoss at one time???

Sandra Wilson?

Ol' Cloud could put his head back in Ronnie's lap and walk a hole in the ground now.The Powerstroke filly that Ronnie won the 2yr.old filly class at this yrs. Cele. goes like that put her head in his lap and did her thang.Probably one of the better hosses I saw at the Cele.By the way this filly was also shown to the blue in the 2yr.old Am. filly class by Pam Reed Ingraham who also rode Mike's Mighty Man to the Pony WGC back in the day.Still ridin and still winnin !

Sen69...I didn't realize that Pam still showed! She was from NC if I am not mistaken. I knew the Reeds best though from Bobo's barn; we had our horses stabled there at the same time. I think it is wonderful that she is still showing. Where does she live now and where are her horses? I would love to see her again...tell her I said "Hello" if you see her!

Hill,yes she was from N.C.,I first met Pam when I worked at Rex Watts' Stables a couple of summers.I was there when Rex started Mighty Man.I believe she lives in Middle Tn. now and can still ride the hair off of one.I think she has horses with a couple different trainers.The filly she showed is owned by Tommy McGee and was trained by Derickson's Training Facility.Spears rode her as a favor to Herbert and Jill and the owners.

Hill, Pam currently resides in Shelbyville on 130W. Before moving to Shelbyville, Pam owned a beautiful farm close to Bethesda. Pam sold this farm to Sheryl Crow, a few years back. Sheryl, recently had the farm for sale, but I have not heard the outcome. Check this out.....

You are correct Hill. That is a young Ricky Womack, but the horse is not a pony..........and I don't believe that picture was even taken in the state of Tennessee, if that helps any......
