| Donna Moore is arguably the greatest horsewoman to ever throw a leg over one of any breed. If not for Donna, there never would have been a Tom. | |

Is Donna Moore kin to Tom Moore. I remember him and Earl Teater as the great Saddlebread trainers in the 50's and 60's | |

| Tom & Donna were husband & wife. Their daughters, Melissa & Melinda both train ASB's and have their own stables and are quite good horsewomen in thier own right. I went to high school with both of them. | |

| Senator 69
Rex Watts was a nice man. I had forgotten that he trained Mike's Mighty Man at one time. Charlie Bobo was training him when he did all his Pony Class winning. I knew Pam Reid who showed him forever. Later on when he was retired he stood at stud at George Lenox's GLL Farm for a while. He had the best back end of any pony ever.

| What happened to FTT Stables? I read somewhere that Red was in the cosmetic industry. I remember his son Greg showing in the early 1970's. | |

| Dutch...........Senator69 will be better able to answer that one than I, but the cosmetic line was "Fashion Two-Twenty"..........hence, "Mr. FTT". I recall a post from this board's early days where someone remembered Mr. Gochneaur landing on the Celebration grounds in a helicopter. Gochneaur also owned Standardbreds. I found this bit in an old Sports Illustrated magazine from 1971: "Good humor man, a Meadow Skipper colt who is a full brother of Most Happy Fella, winner of pacing's Triple Crown in 1970, was sold for an alltime record of $210,000 at the Tattersalls Yearling Sale in Lexington, Ky. The previous record for a standardbred was $125,000, set in 1969 at Harrisburg. The bay colt was purchased by Vernon G. Gochneaur of Aurora, Ohio, who also topped the bidding at the Harrisburg Sales in September when he bought Pennsy Hanover, a Tar Heel colt, for $90,000." | |

| dutch,Smitty is right it was Fashion Two Twenty Cosmetic Stables.Red was in the cosmetic business and then moved into the horse nutrition and grooming business.Red passed away several yrs. ago and Greg and his wife Lynn of Setting Sun's Apollo fame live in Texas and own a cosmetic company .I talk to Greg from time to time on FB. Red named a lot of his horses after his company and it's products.Mr Fashion Two Twenty a black stud that passed away in the Cele. warm up ring and then Red bought a sorrel w/light m&t and named him Mr. FTT.he named one of the colts Judge's Choice after one of the products.Red knew how to get the most bang for his buck.Red was a good man and went first class with everything he did. There are probably some people on here that remember the wet bar and some of the parties at the Cele. barn.We always had a good time! | |
