| I remember the retirement but was sad because I would never see him show again. Loved that horse. | |

| Yeah, that's what it was. I was just in awe. Never seen anything like that. The blanket was beautiful and amazing. How much red tape was it to get the Celebration to let someone retire their horse? I'm sure just anyone can't get that done. What happened to Moonglow, Jr.? | |

According to Burt Moonglow Jr. was 13 when he was retired in 1970. He stood at Stud at Stallion Stables at Vic Thompson's for one season. Then he went to DR. Renfrow's farm in North Carolina for a while. He spent the last years of his life on Gene Stone's farm in Arab, Alabama. She is vague on how long he lived. Somewhere between 22 and 28 years. I know very little aboudt any colts he sired.

| Where is the Walking Horse Hall of Fame and can you visit it? Are the Daugette sisters in the Hall Of Fame? | |

| As far as I know over the years there Have been several attempts , but all are Currently defunct. Years ago Larry Lowan started a Hall of Fame in Shelbyville. It's gone. There was A walking Horse Museum on the square in Lynchburg. It closed last year. Rock A Bye Ladies patent leather was in it. We've no Idea where it went. | |

| Looks like the Celebration would have it on the grounds and take care of it. This has been discussed before on the website. I think if it was around the Celebration grounds at least people coming to the show each year would get to see the names and items. | |

| "They" say it's in Wartrace now...who knows, I've not talked to anyone that's been there. The worms keep turning so much, hopefully what little there is left for a musuem won't disapear like so much of it has.... | |

| After the trivia luncheon I checked Wartrace. If it's there it's well hidden. | |

| Smitty did not leave me the answers - so I am flying by the seat of my Granny Panties. It is David Welsch. Maybe someone else can identify the horse. | |

| I was told during the celebration that all the museum contents are in a couple of tractor trailers on the show grounds and have been all summer in the heat not good | |

| I sure am glad that Decker and I rescued her coats before they went into "storage". I'm still upset over all the great old rotten wood they burned when they burned the old back barns.
