| That's a nice photo Razor. I have no idea who it is, but he sho looks familiar. Mirally Meadows might know who it is. If noone here can guess this one, I'd might (with your permission) post it on the Facebook Trivia Page. There are lots more members there. Perhaps Priscilla Talley, Robbie Spiller or one of the Marks will recognize him.

| The pic from Gadsden looks like the Merryman boy that showed out of Marianne and JT's barn....they've been out of the biz for years. i think they were from around Huntsville, AL. | |

| Thank's MM. I will ask Burt if she remembers these people. This picture is the pony class. Do you remember him showing a pony? | |

| I posted the Gadsden pic on the Facebook page. So far, the Bama folks are stumped. Mirally has made the only educated guess so far.

I believe several photos of this rider have been posted on here in the past as an older Amateur rider. This pony she's riding just MIGHT be related to a well-known horse shown by Boyd Hudgins.....

| No, but the pony has very similar NAME & COLOR to a hoss Boyd Hudgins used to show, and may even be closely related (?) There are other photos of this rider on this board. This hoss was NOT trained by a MAN!!!! .....tough one ain't it? | |

Mirally, I think you might be referring to Charles Merryman, Jr. (?) I have a photo of the Merryman boy on Copy's Meme in a win shot at the Celebration. The Merryman boy looks much younger than the young man in the photo above and really doesn't resemble him all that much to me. The Merryman boy is wearing GLOVES in the win shot as well. Both of the photos would have been from about the same time (mid to late 70's). Copy's Meme is wearing chains in the photo, so it too would have been shot after 1975. I could be wrong, but I don't think it's Merryman.

| That is not Charlie Merryman. They were from New Market, AL just outside of Huntsville. | |

| Yep, I agree after seeing the other pic of Charles Merryman on Meme. I have looked at this on a bigger screen and my second guess is that it may be William Mitchell's son. (Kerry?) He looks so familiar....but William's son may not have been that old mid 70's. Hoping Priscilla will take a look and see what she thinks... | |
