| Isn't it funny how things change? Now it takes 17 bits to work one horse! | |

| The celebration has put out a cd that listed all ribbon winners in every class. The last updated one I saw was around 1997. You can also go to the website www.walking-horse.com and under their listing of past champions it will show the championships and some prelem classes from the Celebration from beginning to present. | |

| The Link I listed above seems to be to the website, but it appears they have discontinued it. Below is a link "through the backdoor" that lists some of the results of Celebrations from the past. http://www.walking-horse.com/champion/ | |

| Stats Man I agree that this is the best source available on the web but it is not a complete listing. It is incomplete in most years, especially the early years and lately. Also, there is no way of knowing how accurate it really is. Do you know if the CD put out by the Celebration is still available anywhere? | |

| The link below is from their current website. I would probably call before I sent anything to make sure they have them still. http://www.twhnc.com/purchase-winnerscd.htmIt lists all ribbon winners from 1939 to 1996 and is searchable by owner, horse and rider. I searched on my name and found many horses I had forgotten about showing for people. From 1997 forward the Walking Horse Report has all the winners listed in the results on their site. | |

| LORD if it ain't old Willie! Thanks for posting that - I'm gonna save this picture on account of I don't ever remember seeing it. Never quite figured out what Daddy liked so much about this horse. He was real good natured but would stumble and fall at the drop of a hat and could also pull your arms out of the sockets. Kathy Thompson showed him and won the amateur stake at the PTA show with him one year and we had a fight about who would keep the trophy - I won. | |

Yep Smitty - I was very fortunate to have had the quality of horses that my daddy provided me. We didn't agree on all of them (Willie was one - kind of like steering a freight train) but for the most part, we had the same taste. I still miss my daddy. If he was still alive, I would like to think that we would be riding together in a field trial gallery right now! | |
