| I believe Carlton Pitts among others showed M M. He was a pretty well respected show horse at one time. Clarence Goodson judged the Celebration. | |

| I'm pretty sure that Mr. Goodson owned the barn where Joe Houk trained at/for at one time. Think it was Clarence Goodson Stables. | |

| MIB...You are right on that one...that was behind Jack Johnson's barn in N. Wilkesboro NC. This picture was taken when my first action photo on Hill was taken. We took Hill home to NC for the winter the first year we owned him and got Les Nelson to make the trip here for a photo shoot. I remember that we had to mow a strip in the back pasture so we would have a good place to do the photos and then taking horse after horse out there for their turn. Speaking of that pasture...Hill threw me out there that winter!! I suppose it was cold and he was having a "flashback" to his days of running with the mustangs...he all of a sudden took off bucking like he was auditioning for the rodeo I had stopped working him and was walking him slowly on a loose rein back to the barn; then the next thing I knew I was sitting on my butt in the grass and Hill was running and bucking and having a grand ole' time. Only thing hurt was my feelings | |
