| Smitty, I did this for Father's Day and it's one of the few photo's I have. Alot of my treasures (junk) were stored in my mother's basement..and it flooded during the MID TN disaster. I lost alot...but after seeing how so many lost everything...I can't complain. | |

| Great picture, Sheila. I am sorry about the "stuff" you lost. If you came to my house, you might say, "What a pile of junk!" But, it is MY junk and MY memories and things that are treasures to me. That is why I have such a fear of a house fire. Not that my boys will ever care what is here and historic, but maybe someday the granddaughters will. | |

| He was a great pony. I enjoyed seeing his performances with 2 Alabama owner-riders. Lynn and little Joe Vann Clayton. | |

| I thought he was a fantastic pony and beautiful as well. I always enjoyed watching Lynn show him....he reminded me of Hill; they were colored up much in the same way. Lynn was a sweet girl and; regretfully; another one of the "horse friends" that I fell out contact with after I left the business. | |

| Hill, do you remember the little purple dune buggy Lynn had? I didn't really know her, but was so envious of that dune buggy she drove around on the Celebration grounds. Such a fun timeback then when everyone was on the grounds, nowadays it's deserted. | |

| MM...I do remember that dune buggy; but had forgotten about it until you mentioned it. I had even forgotten about mine...I had a bright metallic green dune buggy and my Daddy brought it to the Celebration one year also...I had a blast running around in that thing! I can't remember if Lynn and I had ours there at the same time or not?? Do you remember what year she had hers? I think I had mine there in '70 or '71?? BD has a better memory than me; she may remember?? I do remember scooting around the show grounds in that thing and getting some dirty looks (and I suppose some comments too) :CS: that little buggy was pretty darn loud | |
