ELVIS - I'm so sorry - I started (really I did) to put Demonstrator - is that who it is?

Nope, guess again. hint: I won the 15.2 class in 1973 on this horse, this photo was taken at Columbia in 1970 he won the two year old class there. He died about four months after we won, just about killed me.

OH my LORD - it was the pretty little black horse that died - that you loved so much - a Shadow horse - don't anyone tell me - I'm going to think of it - I am!

ELVIS you remember when we had horses at Mac's and Jim Nabors did too? He had one named Popsicle and the other one was SOAP - you remember those horses? I showed Soap a time or two and it was like trying to steer a freight train and they called him Soap cause he got so lathered up all the time he looked like he had had a bubble bath.

I think Rooster told me he won the 15.2 Amateur class in 1973 on this horse.

Hey BD I've been off the board for 3 days, I SEE you did remember, I remembered Gomer and soap After you jogged my memory. See you and Razor on Thurs. night. What's the word from the celebration, how many horses, HOW many people and are the inspectors letting anything in the ring???? SAD day at the Chitwood household I just buried my old Pointer Kansas Bonnie,this morning, IT just about killed me, sometime I WISH I didn't get so attached to my horses and dogs!!

I'm so sorry bout your ole dog - the older they get the harder it is to turn them loose. Don't think that I will make it on Thursday or any night for that matter - but will see you at lunch - and maybe more during the day. Lana has been called out of town sudenly and I will be staying with her mother.

Jay Cobb and Another Masterpiece

I wonder whatever happened to Jay Cobb.I used to help him out once in awhile at some of the Ohio showsbut that was when he was pretty young and before Another Masterpiece.Funny I was and am friends with both trainers of that horse because I'm still a good friend of Ronnie Spears.

Another Masterpiece & Jay Cobb is CORRECT! One of the prettiest and BIGGEST WGCs of all time.
I think that's the owners, Mr. & Mrs. Henry Moore with Jay & A.M. after his Junior Stake win.
