How many of you have ever attended one of his famous BARN PARTIES???

I KNOW you are kidding -

I never attended a party at Spoons place, but from what I hear if you can remember attending one the you probably wern't really there.

That is true MIB - however - you have "flashbacks" from them - talked to Joe Joe on FB and told him that you were coming tomorrow - he says HEY!

I agree! The memories of the one party at Spoon's I attended are very VAGUE.

However, I DO remember little bit's & pieces. Here's what I recall and see if you relate to any of this because I'm anxious to know if this is really the way it was.

1. Everything was very dark........kind of damn SPOOKY if you want the truth,.......but COOL spooky......

2. People were scattered about in little groups all over the place.........especially back at the cars.....They were kind of talking real low...........it was REALLY laid back outside the barn

4. Inside the barn, it was loud. The band was towards the back of the barn and they were damn good and I think they were playing Blues & Rock n' Roll mostly.............don't remember any country tunes at all. Seems like some people were dancing, but I can't draw a mental picture of this........???

5. Seems like there was some HOOCH.............??? Maybe some BBQ or RIBS.......or something good?

6. Everything was cool...............to the BONE!

Actually, I was at a karaoke barn party last Friday night where one of the Witherspoon boys sang. It wasn't Aaron, because when I said I had never met a Witherspoon that couldn't sing, he informed me I was talking to one! Not that I believed that......but, anyway, the one who was singing I think was Jay. He was OUTSTANDING!! He sang a couple of times and wowed the place!!

Yep we had a fine time - in attendance were MIB, Barn, Rooster, Jean and friend, Sensation 61, Razor and Mrs Razor and Mrs Razor's brother Clarence (who are both going join the site) and ME! Mrs Razor brought a photo album full of Rock a Bye Lady memorabilia and a gold plated shoe.
A fine time was had by all and I ate FISH in your honor!
