| I was at Rutledge Falls yesterday & its not quiet like those pictures anymore. Concrete bridge, trees hiding river from road. The pictured Falls is a smaller one that is above the main one. The pictures show semi flooded conditions. The pipe smoker was Mr Hugh Doak that owned a big farm & the Manchester Times. | |

| The Best of WHT HumorNow, for a change of pace I'll go back through the archives and pick out what I consider some of the best horse-related humorous stuff that has been posted on WHT over the last couple of years. Here's an oldie, but a goodie....... Book: How To Train Tennessee Walking Horses Open it up, and there you have your answer! | |

| Cool Hand Luke was one of my favorites. Does anyone have a picture of Comin' Yonder? I've forgotten who trained him.

| RW, Here's Comin' Yonder & Don Bell. I think Bob Cherry may have had him at one time, maybe others. | |

| Did ya'll notice the big ole pieces of lead tacked on the front of Ace's Black Baron's foots? That was when we were using those 16 oz. slick boots. Lotta lead used back then. | |

| I didn't recognize Gaines/Gaynes? Luna. Remember he and "Pop" both...though Gaines more as a steward. I think of him everytime I drive by his old place headed to S'ville. | |
