Do you know what horse that is Jim Messenger is riding? Looks and is marked up just like a juvenile horse that used to show up here out of Baker-McQuerry Stables. I know Messenger once had this horse I'm referring to. If it's him, then I've rode him a time or two myself.

No, I really don't. Looks like a horse Vicky Lynn Thompson once showed.(maybe Go Boys Wonder)

That one is one you scanned. I'm thinking the horse might be "Hullabaloo". If I can find out for sure, I'd like to send it to the former owner. Doubt if she's ever seen that shot, but I could be wrong.

Shaker's Glory and Kristy King of Gadsden, AL may have been Mike Hilley's first WC team....King family owned a car dealership...not sure what's happened to her....I think they were in the business just a short time.

Ringmaster in the pic of Kristy King was Jim Higgins of Albertville, AL. Brother to Rex Higgins, and I believe Jim died just last year.

Ringmaster in the pic of Jimmy Ellis at Al Jubilee in Montgomery was Jack Morgan of Gadsden, AL. Jack and wife, Emily, still live next to the barn (Thunderbird Stables) in Rainbow City, AL.

Snowman's registered name was White Cloud's Image, though always shown as Snowman. Born in '62, originally owned by Mr Tucker from VA, bred by LM Murphy. Bought at ?Holly? Farm in Shelbyville by my uncle Jerry Bagwell for his son, who thought he was too big, that was my lucky day! Mother and Daddy bought him for me! My first walking horse and best friend! Died at age 29, buried here on the farm.

What a wonderful picture of Joe Vann, and how ironic he was smoking....he died secondary to lung cancer. Cannot help, but caution anyone who is a smoker to QUIT.
