| DeltaBoy, I saw Doug Wolaver & John T Carter both show that good little bay horse. Who was hauling him? That was big Wink on the spotted pony & That barn was Kellys where Joe Jr. showed Little Bit of Trouble. Joe Sr. was a state senator & mebbe Jr. was a Dr.! Whats the history of the barn as you know it? About WitchDoctor, David Oxford was a farrier & lived in front of the ElBethel B Charch on 41A, out towards Unionville. His late daughter Sherry was a horse photographer. His baby daughter Mitzi was the first Weatherwoman in Nashville at ch2. I dated his oldest daughter for a short while. Dave & wife were very friendly folks. | |

| I think Willie Smith, an employee of Longview Farms, was driving the van when it wrecked in Hampshire, Tenn. Willie, a tall black man, later gained notoriety for showing Copy's Black Power in a solid white suit in stake classes in West Tennessee.
Joe Kelley Jr.'s brother, Dr. Jim Kelley, was a family physician in Columbia for many years. He retired several years ago. He was part owner [with James Hoil Walker] of Pride's Pattern. Their father, Sen. Joe Kelley, was also President of the Breeders' Assn. in the 60's. I don't know much about the barn, except that is next door to Dr. & Mrs. Harmon's place, Tucahoe Farm. | |

| Witch Doctor is also the sire of The Witch, Jazz Man's 2nd dam. Wasn't she a world champion mare? |

| Jazz Man's 2nd dam was Dians Delight, a mare owned by our friends & neighbors [literally across the road], Don & Donald Bulloch in Dermott, Ark. She was by Sun's Delight & out of a Mack K mare. No connection to The Witch. | |

| Love that hat Ms Amie did a great job picking one that suited a little boy! We called them an "old man's hat"; but this one is definitely cute on Woody. Yes; BD he sure was a pretty child :) | |
