Amen to that....could teach a few how to sit and show a horse! I've seen Ramsey get on some at the barn and they do a different gear as soon as he throws a leg over the saddle, despite the fact that nothing else was changed....Amazing hands!

Name a horse that became a WGC, later on after leaving Ramseys barn. (I'm not knocking Ramsey, just stating a Historical fact)

Actually, there were several of them, but that don't mean they were BETTER. I think it's a tip of the hat to him for making em good to begin with. Ramsey had several horses that could have won the WGC under his guidance if the cards had fallen just right. Ramsey kept his mouth shut and let his horses do the talking, and when they called for running walk the second way of the ring, he would beat yo :CS: .
Nuff said....

Ramsey had a good career & so has Doug Wolaver, Billy Gray, Jimmy McConnell, Joe Fleming, Steve Dunn & Ronnie Spears. They all have won the WGC more than once & are all still alive. Most of their careers have overlapped & They've shown against each other. It would be hard to pick out the best trainer of the bunch & I won't attempt it.

Ramsey will appreciate the wire from Wart Race. This means alot coming from another celebrity...Mason.
SB...I'm sure your referring to "Rebel", and I'll tell you the story, when I pickup the Voice's. Ramsey was later offered another future WGC, but declined because he thought highly of the current trainer.

The photo of CHARRO lost a lot in the transfer i guess. Cant really see her action shot. He is a she , not a new baby , but born 1998. Seeing her on her first day I noticed her doing a nodding walk. So I run in for the camera and catch a bit of my mini walking horse, to prove I was not seeing things. Sold as a baby , she grew up to be a beautiful black 34" mare. She came back last year to be bred to my stallion. The owner passed away and she was sold and I lost contact with her.

For anyone that can get R F D on TV, They will have the parade on with less interuptions today. And will not break away when the horses come by.

I love the parade pics! Speaking of RFDTV, Tracy Pinson and Tuff (winners of amateur extreme cowboy race) were on. We don't get RFDTV but someone posted a link to a few videos on youtube that showed some of her runs. Wow, what a talented lady and horse!

I never realized there was that many horse units in the parade! They must cut away during alot of the horsie parts....

I used to ride in a few local parades as a youngster. I remember they ALWAYS put the horses in the rear. Can anyone guess why?
