| Well Pardon Me Sir! Good answer - how could anyone forget Larry Gribble? That would be impossible, don't you think? | |

| He also stood at Harlinsdale for a while, under the Gribble banner. I have a great interest in Midnight Mack K. He fascinates me. He was probably the best horse never to win the big one. He was also a very controversial horse (for various reasons) but at the same time, one of the most natural-going of all time, according to Gribble himself. I showed a grandson of Midnight Mack K for quite a few years back in the 70's. I have just recently begun to realize that he was so very similar to his Grand-Dad in a lot of ways. He was the feistiest, most spirited horse I've ever owned, and I understand many of the Mack K. colts were also that way. My horse's ears, slightly-roman nose and neck resembled Mack K greatly. I'll see if I can post a photo of them both side by side. http://www.walkerswest.com/Champs/MidnightMackK.htm | |

| I too am partial to the Mack K line - my old Handshaker horse was out of a Gypsy Go Boy mare and had an unbelievable back end. He was my favorite - - but ornery. | |

| The Show Pleasure World Grand Champion was not originally crowned at the Celebration. Name the horse show at which this title was originally awarded. | |

The answer is: The Tennessee State Championship Colt Show, held at the Rutherford County Recreation Center in the early 70's | |

| One of my all time favorites was a stallion named "Mackay's Spider". That was one of the most well behaved stallions I have ever been around. And very laid back. Dad was getting up calves and loading them one night while I was exercising Mac. Mac and I ended up helping to herd the calves, pads and all. We had a blast!

| All answers are correct as far as I know. Sowega, you're right, Scatman did stand at GLL Farms. Susie, I have never seen a padded horse round up cows! That's a new one on me. | |

| Bubbadog, I think you are referring to "The Tennessee Stallion" which came out in 1978. I don't recall ever watching it, but I hear it is a real DUD. It's so bad, it might be good for a laugh though. Stars Dick Van Patten and the Landers sisters, if that tells you anything. Susie, if this is the movie you are referring to, you can get it on VHS at Amazon.com That is not the correct answer to today's trivia question, though. If you'll notice......I said FILM......not MOVIE...... | |

| My Bad. And I was referring to Tn Stallion - a true DUD! (not Dude - dud) I do not possess the answer to the film question but I would be willing to bet Dr Bob Womack had something to do with it. | |
