| Jr. Pierce trained Hurry Sundown. He was 2x reserve WGC amateur horse and Patti Reams was from Atlanta at that time | |

| A couple of years ago he was still in Douglasville, Ga. and was working agout 3 horses in his spare time. I haven't heard from him lately | |

| As I recall he was found shot to death in his car on a country road, I think in Ms. or West Tn., Memphis area. I don't think the case was ever solved. | |

I will say, that from what I can gather, his killer was sentenced to life in prison and later recanted his confession, saying that he took the rap for what was called "The Dixie Mafia".
