| No offense taken Coco. The subject was bound to arise with the posting of a photo of Mr. Lennox. It's ok to mention it, as it is a fact, but I just didn't want it to go much farther due to respect for the family. You're fine with what you posted. :) | |

| The year we bought Hill's Perfection; Mr Bobo was training horses at GLL Farms in Collierville Tn. We took Hill out there and my mother and I soon followed so that I could practice riding him. We enjoyed our time there so much that we ended up spending most of the summer with the Lennox's. They were wonderful host and a lovely family. I was close in age to Martha (daughter) and Lee (son) and we became close friends. Mr Bobo's daughter; Martha was the same age as Martha L so we had the two Martha's; Lee; and me..we were quite a foursome and I am afraid; not always perfect angels. I haven't spoken with either Martha in a long time; but I spoke with Lee recently and he is doing well....has several grandchildren (so hard to picture when you haven't seen someone since they were practically a child themselves!) When Smitty mentioned the glass in Merry Go Boy's stall; I thought of Carbon Copy. His stall had a picture window also; I recall Mr Lennox telling me that it was safety glass for CC's protection...He was very proud of that stallion! I had a great time that summer; beautiful horses; a gorgeous farm; good friends; and a gracious host/hostess all made quite an impression on this 12 year old! | |

| Not Lindsay. This fellow came along slightly before my time, but he had a good string of horses at one time and may have come out of N.C. (?) The MARE he is riding turned out to be a goodern and won a lot in several divisions. | |

| Howard Roberts wrote a book for children about a little boy and his walking horse. I think it was for an assignment in a college course and his teacher suggested he send it to a publisher and it was printed. It was in the library at my son's school. | |

| Oh mercy! Shouldn't have to give a hint on that Amateur WC pictured above! Interesting about the Howard Roberts book. I've looked on the net, but can't seem to find anything. I did find reference to a book called "Training The Tennessee Walking Horse" by Amos Faw, 1956, 88 pages. | |
