| Wasn't Centennial Delight trained by Bobo, then Milligan...I believe he was owned by the Wayne Putman family at the end of his career and Milligan was training him at that time? | |

Billy and Tim Gray actually started Centennial - according to Arlene Naiman - she owned him for years and Phillip Wilson worked him.

CORRECT! The Morgan is thought by many to be the first breed developed in the U.S. The registry for the breed was started in 1894.

| MM, Centennial Delight was my favorite horse of all time. Hands down. He was the prettiest and most honest horse I've ever known. Over his career he was trained by most everyone and fed them all well and often. I took care of him for several years, one of which he won the Amatuer WGC with Wayne Putnam aboard. I have the ribbons he was wearing that night in my box of memorbilia. When the Putnams got out of the horse business Centennial went through a dispersal sale at Murray Farms and he was bought by Dr. Boshell. We took him to Baton Rouge a month or two later and Dr. Boshell then moved him along with his other horses we had at that time to his barn for Allen Foreman to work. The next spring Bo moved the horse back to Milligan's for a short while and then moved him to Chad Way. Chad kept him until his death and did fairly well with him and Patty. He died of colic at Sammy Day's old barn in Wartrace when Chad and Phillip were there working together. It was a disgrace that the old horse wasn't given a proper burial. I'm pretty sure that Charles Bobo started him and won the 2 yr old WGC with him. I also think he won a few other WC titles as well as blues from every show around. I do know that the Greys had him at one time and so did Howard Roberts (that's where his leg got burned). He beat every good horse out there at one time or another and I loved him more than any horse I've ever been around. | |

| I think that it was actually Wa Moo Lang- a mare by Carbon Copy owned by GLL Farms. Lee Lenox ought to know all about her. I'm trying to dust off my brain without much success. | |

| I think you're right, BD. She was a mare by Carbon Copy. I don't think her original name was Wa Moo Lang. I think she sold for a lot of money and had a name change soon after. I also think that at one time she was owned by Fashion Two-Twenty Cosmetics. | |
