| I remember that ribbon skirt that Mrs Halsey had. Seems like we have referenced it here on the WHTRivia before, but I don't think anyone had a picture of it!!! | |

| mhickman sent in the above photos of her and some of the great hosses she's ridden down through the years. She took these with a digital camera, so they are a shot of a picture. Had to do some work on them, but they turned out pretty good. mhickman, tell us bout de hosses above ! | |

| My father bought him from Herb Roberts im Kentucky. I think that show was Westplains Mo but not sure. He won 17 blues the first year we had him and 20 or 21 the next year. We sold him to one of Vic thompson's client and they changed his name to Yankee Clipper. I think Shirley Schliaker(miss splelled I'm sure) was the owner. Can't remember how he done from that point on. MMM | |

| I believe Billy Jackson showed this horse in Amateur classes in Ky at one time. Did real well with him. I think he returned to Kentucky in the late 70's and was shown by Brent Grider (of Frankfort, Ky-not Columbia) and trained once again by Billy Jackson. I showed against him in a 3 Riders To Judge class at the Ky Celebration one year. He won the class. | |

| WOW!! That was a great show!!! Ebony's High Brass was Ebony on top and Sun's Delight mare.(Frank and Dixie Parnell bought him that fall.) As was Ebony's Gold Label ,picture above from same show, and Dandy Don was bred same way. Mr. Leroy Franks owned and raised them. He was the only TWHBEA President west of the Miss.he liked to say. Very blessed to have people like him who believed in me with such awesome horses. Edwards exhibited Generator at that show...... Thank you SMITTY!!! | |

| Mr. Bob Finley brought Willie's momma to us to be bred to Black Southern Aire, it took 3 years to get her in foal. She was marked up like Willie, she was old and founder. John Harney started Willie, Roberta Finley showed him . We were so proud of Darlene getting her canter leads at this show! She really worked hard in the winter, Dad would have me sit behind her on Willie and canter and canter....lol It certainly paid off. I love it when someone will work in the winter to be ready in the spring. | |
