The Mid American Spring Charity Show was held annually from 2001 to 2007 in Jackson Missouri....however, only two Trainers ever won the Stake Class at the show. Anyone know who?

Thankyou for the kind words... I was just talking to Dad about this yesterday...we're gonna dig around and see what old pictures we can find, but unfortunately most were destroyed in the fire. I wasn't sure what you meant about Wishful Thoughts...I'm not familiar with this horse. I know Grandpa had a 5x WC Road Horse name Come A Russian (not sure if that's spelled right). He also worked Merry Wilson and Midnight Merry some while he was up in Zelienople PA. He also had a horse named Sun's Rise and Shine that they bought off of Bud Seaton while he was in Illinois. Dad has had WC Jet Set, multi WC Dude's Black Allen, RWC Colonel Delight, 15.2 WGC Threat's Cargo, WC Ebony's Touch Me Not, RWC Outrageous Attitude, Newt Masterpiece, Dream's Sun Dust, Jubilee's Black Onyx, The Magic Touch, Genius' Vanilla Ice, Krugerrand, The GateKeeper and a whole host of other lesser known but very talented horses.

Dad said that Grandpa did have that horse but said he wasnt a WC...but he may have the horse confused with another....but as I said, he did have Come A Russian who was a 5x WC.
Smitty..I'll find out more about Sun's Rise and Shine.
MIB, Dad really loved Cargo and got along with him really well.

Thank you for the heads up on PMB Mr. Junior!
Don Bolinger passed to heaven on Wed. I have heard visitation is on Sunday and funeral is Monday. Will post more details when I hear. I'm sure it is in California Mo. He was a great horseman. One of 2 from Missouri to judge the Celebration from Missouri.

Boy I loved me some Ebony's Threat. One year at the Fun Show when Billy Gray showed him, he made my toenails curl up! He wasn't very big - but he sure could do a whole lot. When did he die? And who owned him at the time of his death?
