| Interesting........didn't know there was another Billy Gray, but there can be only one answer and that is: TOM MOORE Yes, Tom Moore did indeed win a 3-Gaited class at the TWH National Celebration. As I hear, he was catch-riding for another trainer. It is my staunch position that Tom Moore is the most famous modern-day horse trainer whose legendary feats surpass any who have shown a horse at the Celebration. If the day comes when a TWH Trainer gets a statue on the Celebration grounds, I might reconsider. | |

| Smitty I have to agree with you. Tom Moore was the horse riding-est man I ever saw. Personally I liked to watch him drive in harness as much as ride because if he had a plum good'un between the shafts he would often stand up in the cart and drive with one hand while he tipped his hat to the crowd with the other-not an easy thing to do. Tom was also the rider in the best action shot I have ever seen. It is a 3/4 facing shot where He is riding a horse named Beau LaRose's Contender (he campaigned as The Contender). In the photo Tom is at the top of his post with all 4 reins in one hand and flopping. The pointer finger on his free hand is pressing against the horse's neck and the only other connection with the horse are the insides of his knees. The horse is flat out doing it and looks like he's about to explode in a million directions. It really is an incredible photograph. We may never see his equal. | |

| Curb - thanks for pointing all of that out - I'm not as observant as you are - quite impressive considering the lack of physical contact. | |

| Not really......give Google the credit, not me. I just typed in her name and "model", that's all. Not really sure that's her in the model photos. Could she be kin to John C. Miller? She looks like she's dressed for Alaska.... To me, she's the most intriguing Celebration personality since "The Sheik". | |
