IPEDS is a program that TWHBEA has for members at an additional cost of $60 a year. It has pedigrees and production records of horses registered with TWHBEA.

Zollie Derryberry farms was where Moonglow, Jr. was trained by Steve Ammett as a 2-yr old. He was also trained by Buddy Kirby in 1965 and placed 3rd, ridden by James K Taylor.

Burt is correct about placing third in the O A Championship with James K in 65. Judge Richard Mary tied him first and the other two tied him 4th. Class was won by Bomb's Bally Hoo and The Society Playboy was reserve.

and gain a second leg on the Kay McFarland- Midnight Secret Challange Trophy.

Great photos, Razor. Do you happen to have any film or video footage of Rock-A-Bye Lady or Moonglow Jr. for those of us who never got to see them in action?

No , unfortunately we have no film of Moonglow Jr. or Rock-a-bye Lady in a show. Back them the 8mm movies
just didn't work at night. This topic has been discussed by several Celebration winners on this website.
The Celebration has some film that they show from time to time on the big screens. However, it seems no one
is given access to them. Most of the film they show is of the big stake. I would assume that there exists film of
the Amateur stake since it is just before the big stake. The Ladies stake was on The second Tuesday night for
some odd reason. I doubt any film of it even exists. We do have about a minute of Anne riding Rock-A-Bye at
Vic's barn. I'll try to see if I can get it transferred to video.

This is the closest thing we have to a video of Moonglow Jr.
It is an unretouched action shot taken at Bation Rouge in'68.
Senator 69 who worked at Vic's during this period describes
Moonglow Jr. as a "powerful Horse". I think that is fitting.

Marvin Wilson called him a "Walkin Powerhouse",said he was the most powerful horse he ever rode.He could really rear back in that bridle and tromp!

No question about it! It is Burt. She just does
Not remember it. About that time Larry Edwarwds
Was training in Gadsden for Harry Martin. It could
Have been one of their horses and a picture made
Just to advertise the Boy's Club Horse Show. Mrs.
Daugette was the chairman of the show for many years.
