| Razor, good job on the photography! I don't know if you just recently shot that for this board or not, but regardless it's fine work and I appreciate your effort. Another BLUE for YOU! Here's a bigger version of the photo shown above on the National Horseman cover. Don't think I've ever posted this one before: | |

| I never did understand how Moonglow, Jr. and Burt got the front page coverage in 1966. Most of the past October National Horseman issues always showed the World Grand Champion on the cover. My question is what happened to Shaker's Shocker not being on the cover that year? | |

| Just a guess......but I would say either:
A. It was offered to Betty and she turned it down
or
B. It was not offered to Betty at all, for one reason or another
????

| Shaker's Shocker wasn't on the cover of the Oct. Voice either in 66. Anybody remember who was? | |

| Maybe Betty didn't have the money for all these front covers? Just don't make sense all World Grand Champions before and after were on these magazine covers. | |

| Seems like the front cover of the National Horseman was $1,000back then. Big bucks for 1966. Like $10,000 now. | |

| Good guess. That is Anne Daugette on the left. She is presenting the Sir Henry's Masterpiece Challenge Trophy to the first winner at the Gadsden Alabama Horse Show circa 1964. The winner was From Gadsden but now lives in Lewisburg Tennessee. Who is she? This is a tough one. | |
